Post Radiation

Since we have 4 weeks until the surgery there are a few things Kathy and I are going to squeeze in.

First, heading to Canada to catch a couple of Women’s World Cup round of 16 matches in Ottawa on Saturday and Montreal on Sunday with a stop on the way up in one of our favorite cities, Burlington, VT. Great people watching on Church Street and the views of Lake Champlain are outstanding. We are looking forward to exploring both Ottawa and Montreal and of course, catching some world class soccer matches. The games are not completely set yet but we do know we get to see Germany on Saturday in Ottawa against an opponent which will be determined after the group stage ends tonight. The Montreal match will probably be France and if I had to guess, they will be playing Spain.

Next it is down to Florida in early July for granddaughter visits in West Palm with Ellie, then Jax Beach with Charlotte and an in-laws visit sandwiched in between the grand-kids in Punta Gorda  with Kathy’s parents. Should be a great 11 days!

The blog will be pretty quiet for the next several weeks other than an update after the July 1st meeting with the doctors at BWH.
